Luas Cherrywood Green Line Extension

Luas Cherrywood is the 7.5 km extension of the Luas Green Line from Sandyford to Brides Glen. Passenger services began on Saturday 16th October 2010. Luas Cherrywood serves 9 new Luas Stops located at:

Carrickmines Stop has a Park + Ride Facility with 352 spaces and includes 13 disabled spaces. It also features two Electric Charging Bays with charge facilities for four vehicles. A number of additional Electric Charging Bays will open shortly at Luas and Iarnrod Eireann locations. The line terminates at Brides Glen.

Luas Cherrywood Line B1 was developed on a Public Private Partnership (PPP) basis and was part funded by the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport.

The total journey time for the Green Line from Brides Glen to Saint Stephen’s Green is less than 40 minutes.
