Luas Green Line began passenger services on 30th June 2004.

Luas Green Line has 22 stops located at Brides Glen, Cherrywood, Laughanstown, Carrickmines (Park + Ride), Ballyogan Wood, Leopardstown Valley, The Gallops, Glencairn,  Central Park, Sandyford (Park + Ride), Stillorgan (Park + Ride), Kilmacud, Balally (Park + Ride), Dundrum, Windy Arbour, Milltown, Cowper, Beechwood, Ranelagh, Charlemont, Harcourt and St. Stephen's Green.

The total journey time for the Green Line from Sandyford to St. Stephen’s Green is estimated at 22 minutes. The total journey time for the Green Line from Bride's Glen to St. Stephen’s Green is estimated at 40 minutes.

The Red and Green Luas Lines are not connected. It is a 15 minute (approximately) walk from St. Stephen’s Green Luas Stop on the Green Line to Abbey Street Luas Stop on the Red Line.
