LUAS LINE C1 RAILWAY ORDER APPLICATION

On 18th December 2006, the Minister for Transport made a Railway Order under Section 37 of the Transport (Railway Infrastructure) Act 2001.

It authorised RPA to provide for the construction, operation and maintenance of a light railway between Connolly and The Point Depot.

The Railway Order is entitled: "S.I. No. 648 of 2006. Railway (Dublin Light Rail Line C1 - Connolly to The Point Depot) Order 2006".

The plan of the railway works referred to in the Order is made up of 3 sets of drawings entitled:

The original Railway Order Application was also accompanied by and Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). A statement of the likely effects on the environment of the proposed railway works, the (EIS) which includes a summary of the EIS is a non-technical language:
