DUNDRUM LUAS STOP ACCESS LIFT PROJECT

Designed for improved wheelchair and mobility impaired access from the bus interchange area at street level to Dundrum Luas Stop. The New 11.7 metre tall Lift Tower is designed to complement the adjacent William Dargan Bridge. It is a glass and steel lift structure with an overhanging glazed roof. A New rib-decked footbridge connects the Platform level lift entrance to the end of Dundrum LUAS stop platform.  
 
The Part ‘M’ fully accessible Lift Car is an 8 Person machine room-less traction lift fitted with Induction loop voice activation and remote monitoring.

Dundrum Luas Stop Access Lift Opend to the public at the end of December 2007.

This project has been Co-Funded by the RPA, DOT and DTO.
