New Luas Online Fare Comparison Tool Launched

Railway Procurement Agency (RPA) is pleased to announce that a new online tool which will allow users to calculate the best value fare option, specifically tailored to an individual customer’s particular journey has just gone online at www.luas.ie.

This new online tool which pilots for the first time in Ireland automatically calculates the cost per trip based on the specific information supplied by the online user.

Luas ticket options include Single Tickets, Return Tickets, Luas Smartcard, Luas 7 Day Ticket, Luas 30 Day Ticket, Luas Tax Saver Monthly and Annual Tickets.

The new tool allows instant comparison of the actual cost per trip and will bring a level of transparency and customer access not previously available in Ireland. The instructions are easy to follow and are designed to assist Luas customers in making informed decisions that can save them money and improve their Luas experience.

The RPA and Veolia Transport are committed to improving the experience of Luas customers by providing innovative new approaches such as the Fare Comparison Tool which are specifically aimed at giving value for money while retaining the features of reliability and comfort which have made Luas such a success.
