Luas Bray / Fassaroe (Line B2)

Phase 4: Build & Operation Permission

To get permission to build and operate Luas Bray/Fassaroe, RPA will submit a Railway Order Application to An Bord Pleanála. This may be followed by an oral hearing. An Bord Pleanála will decide whether to grant a Railway Order to RPA and may impose certain conditions.

Once a Railway Order is granted all construction and related work carried out on Luas Bray/Fassaroe will be in accordance with the final approved plans contained within that Order. These plans will have been the subject of several years of planning and consultation.

RPA will invite potential contractors to build the line and will award the necessary contracts for supplies, services and works.
