Luas Bray / Fassaroe (Line B2)

Phase 3: Line & Stop Design

Having selected the best overall route option based on a number of criteria including public consultation, RPA in this phase focuses on more detailed design. This includes identifying the precise location of the tracks, platforms, access arrangements, bridges, walls, power supply sub-stations and other structures. The details below describe the current proposed stop locations and are subject to change as the design progresses. Stop names are also subject to change and we welcome any comments in this regard.

St. Columcille's (Possible Stop)

A possible stop is being considered at St. Columcille's located near the current playing pitches to the west of St. Columcille's Hospital (Loughlinstown). This stop will only be built if the surrounding area develops significantly and there is suitable accessibility to the stop.

Thornhill stop is east of Thornhill Road just north of St. Gerard’s School.

Fassaroe

Fassaroe stop is north of Berryfield Lane and will be incorporated into new development proposed in the area. There will be a large underground park and ride facility at this stop.
