RPA has completed public consultation related to the options for Luas Broombridge (Line D). The responses from public consultation were one of the factors taken into consideration when selecting the best overall route. Other considerations include the environment, economics, safety, integration and accessibility.
During the Route Selection stage RPA, having carefully considered submissions related to route options from the public and other stakeholders selected the best route for Luas Line D.
In parallel, RPA commenced the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process received input from prescribed bodies and other organisations on the scoping of an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the project.
