Public consultation for the selection of the Emerging Preferred Corridor (EPR) was held between September and November 2007.
Open days were organised and RPA circulated 110,000 freepost consultation cards to households and businesses located within 1 km range from any of the options and sub options evaluated.
Over 2,400 submissions were received.
The public consultation informed the choice of the Emerging Preferred Route (EPR).
On Friday 10th October 2008 RPA announced the selection of the Emerging Preferred Route Corridor for Luas Lucan (Line F). This Route Corridor is based on Line F Route Options presented to the public in September 2007. The route shown is an indicative route within the Emerging Preferred Route Corridor for Line F.

Until permission is granted by An Bord Pleanála for a Railway Order, the route selected by RPA could still possibly change.
