Metro North Railway Order Oral Hearing
On 10th March 2010, the Metro North Oral Hearing finished. An Bord Pleanála is due to make a decision on the Railway Order application by the end of July 2010.
On 2nd March 2009 a Preliminary Hearing was held on the Metro North Railway Order application.
On 1st April 2009 the Metro North Oral Hearing commenced.
On Wednesday 22nd April 2009, An Bord Pleanála's Inspector announced that he will temporarily adjourn the Metro North Oral Hearing after the completion of Module 1 (RPA’s evidence), to allow the Inspector and his technical advisors and other observers consider RPA's evidence and the supporting data provided by RPA in response to questions from the Inspector and his technical advisors. The adjournment is expected to be for a period of approximately 4 weeks.

On 29th June 2009, RPA received correspondence from An Bord Pleanála regarding further information required. Click here to view or download this letter.
On 1st October 2009, RPA submitted further information in relation to the Railway Order application which had been requested by An Bord Pleanála.
On 6th November 2009, RPA RPA received correspondence from An Bord Pleanála advising of the re-opening of the Metro North Railway Order Oral Hearing scheduled for Monday 30th November 2009. Click here to view or download this letter.
On 10th March 2010 the Metro North Oral Hearing finished. It is expected An Bord Pleanála will make a decision on the Railway Order application in the coming months.
