Tallaght East

Metro West starts at Tallaght East Metro Stop on Belgard close to Blessington Road Junction. This stop will serve Tallaght Village, Tallaght Institute of Technology, South Dublin County Hall and The Square. Tallaght East Metro Stop will be located close to the existing Luas Red Line Tallaght Stop.

Colberts Fort

Colberts Fort Metro Stop is a possible future stop and maybe become a regular stop on Metro West. This Stop if or when, will be located on Belgard Road past Airton Road. It could serve Kilnamanagh, Cookstown Industrial Estate and Airton Road business area.

Belgard

Having departed Clondalkin Village, Metro West then crosses the New Nangor Road turning west towards Fonthill Road beside Dunawley Avenue before turning north over the Grand Canal and Kildare railway line to Fonthill Metro Stop. This will be a new interchange station for Metro West and Irish Rail.
