Luas Announces Winner of Luas Art Competition 2013

Congratulations to the winner and runners-up of the 7th Luas Art Competition 2013!

Luas Art Competition 2013 - Winner

Karl Brennan is the overall winner of this year’s competition for his entry ‘Luas Cave Predictions. The concept for the design is a parody of the cave paintings found in France and Spain which are one of the earliest forms of visual communications. The idea was to incorporate the symbol for Luas into the style of these paintings, playing on the theme “The Future is Luas”.

Karl Brennan is a final year student of visual communication at Dublin Institute of Technology. He holds a Higher National Diploma in Graphic Design from Ballyfermot College, and has a  keen interest in art and design.
