Luas Commercial Opportunities Overview
RPA is responsible for determining, arranging and managing all commercial opportunities on the Dublin Light Rail system (Luas). Our principal aim is to develop opportunities that will benefit the passenger (e.g. retail space), will increase utilisation of our assets (e.g. advertising space) and will benefit the community (e.g. public art partnership).
The supplementary income derived from these initiatives will be reinvested back into the system thereby allowing Luas to continuously improve the value of its service offering. Luas has attracted tremendous interest and has very high awareness in the community.
RPA is developing seven new Luas and two Metro lines as part of the Government’s Transport 21 programme.
