Public Consultation initiatives are when associations, communities, businesses organisations and the general public are invited to formally submit their views and opinions on a RPA project in their area.
This is done by displaying the relevant information pertaining to the particular phase of a project in public locations (Civic Offices, Libraries, Church/Community Hall etc). A News Letter may be distributed in the relevant catchment area. Open Days may also be arranged and will be advertised.
Present Initiatives
Metro West
Monday, 1st March 2010, 19:00 - 21:00hrs
Belgard Heights Community Centre, Belgard, Tallaght, Dublin 24.
Metro West will run along the centre of Belgard Road from Tallaght East towards Newlands Cross. Railway Procurement Agency (RPA) has identified the preferred design option for Metro West at the junction of Belgard Road and Embankment Road and in July 2009 RPA issued a letter to residents informing them of the design proposed.
To allow you to suggest how the design can be best integrated with the surrounding environment and to allow you to ask questions of relevant RPA staff, RPA will hold a public meeting in Belgard Heights Community Centre on the evening of Monday 1st March 2010.
